According to the Gregorian calendar, days usually fall in April and May. However, it is uncertain when exactly Gautama Buddha was born and died. But according to historians, He was born Prince Siddhartha Gautam in Lumbini, Nepal, and died at the age of eighty. It was around 563 to 483 BC.On this day, devotees fast and gather at the temple of the Buddha and listen to the teachings of the Buddha. It is believed that on this day whoever fasts and remembers Lord Vishnu and Buddha, their faults will be erased from their life, and they will grow up to become faithful devotees of the Lord.
